When Noland walked down the plane's stairs, Shangcheng City was still deep in the night. The early autumn air carried a slight chill.

The night breeze tousled Noland's hair, swaying in the darkness. As he stepped out from the warm cabin of the plane, the wind made him frown slightly. Fortunately, his assistant, Sherman, was quick to act and draped a coat over him before Noland could speak.

As Noland set foot on the land again, the homesickness he had felt was unexpectedly eased. Sherman led him straight from the airport to a manor on the outskirts of the city. The streetlights outside the car window made Noland think deeply.

To be honest, Noland’s visit to Shangcheng City was not planned, or rather, not part of the Harris Group's plans. Although the Harris family had some investments in Shangcheng City, they were insignificant compared to their other industries.

Moreover, China was a relatively unfamiliar place to the Harris Group. They would never allow the heir of their family to come to such a country.

At nearly thirty years old, Noland was in the prime of his life. Under the strict education of the family, he had grown into a qualified heir. Thanks to the extra twenty-five years of memories from his past life, he was far more exceptional and capable than others his age.

Given this, the Harris family wouldn’t let Noland travel freely.

However, Noland had long been molded into someone with an unshakable personality, and now, no one in the Harris Group dared to defy and oppose his orders. Even his father wouldn’t easily challenge him.

When Noland said he was going to Shangcheng, his assistant made all the necessary preparations.

But once he actually set foot on this land, his homesickness faded, and was replaced by confusion.

The purpose of Noland’s visit here was, of course, to help the foolish, clumsy, and naïve version of himself become smarter and break free from the fate she had suffered in his past life. But… How exactly should he go about doing that?

"Sherman…"

"Yes, sir?"

"How do you make a foolish, clumsy, and naïve woman smarter?"

Noland kept looking out the window, his tone calm.

Sherman, however, wondered if something was wrong with his ears. Although his boss had given many strange orders before, they had always proven to be correct in the end.

But now, Sherman was wondering for the first time: was his boss losing his mind?

Or perhaps… Sherman adjusted his glasses: Was this the first time the boss had mentioned anything about women? Has Noland finally awakened?

It wasn’t hard to see why Sherman thought this way. His boss was exceptional in every way, but there was one thing that had been bothering his boss’s parents for a long time.

They risked drawing suspicion from Noland and asked Sherman daily, "Does Noland have a girlfriend? Or maybe a boyfriend?"

But Sherman knew better. At nearly thirty, and soon to take control of the Harris family, Noland Harris wasn’t inexperienced. However, whether it was a woman or a man, Noland never seemed interested. His private life was so spotless that it raised suspicions about his sexuality.

Especially when Noland’s cousin had several illegitimate children, while Noland didn’t even have a mistress. Not having a wife was one thing, but no illegitimate children either? The Harris couple was understandably anxious.

But now that Noland had suddenly asked this question... Sherman decided to make a note of it in his notebook. If the Mr. and Mrs. asked about it later, he would report the truth.
