The final interview session had turned into a panel with Noland as the lead examiner, accompanied by Chen Zichen, Jin Shiya, Sherman, and Paul.

Chen Zichen had prepared a small conference room, notifying the artists selected by Liu Hong to be ready before calling them in one by one.

Noland, however, seemed somewhat disinterested, mainly because Sherman had already prepared the questions. He sat in the center, tilting his head slightly as he watched Jin Shiya sipping on her strawberry milkshake on the desk. For the sake of his image, he had been forbidden by Jin Shiya to bring his own milkshake inside, but she didn’t hold herself to the same rule, occasionally taking a sip.

Noland was feeling a little rebellious about the situation. How dare she limit his milkshake!

Although Noland didn’t protest aloud, he felt an amusing resentment brewing inside. He was sitting there absent-mindedly, twirling a pen in his fingers, until the door opened and Jiang Shiyu entered. Noland immediately snapped to attention, mentally noting: "Here she is."

The reason Noland was so focused on the conditions of this interview was undoubtedly for Jiang Shiyu. His methods were simple: he intended to nurture her rise by pushing her into the spotlight, but his approach to each woman differed. With Jin Shiya, he cradled her in his palm, whereas with Jiang Shiyu, his goal was to release her into the world when the time was right—when the world was watching. He wanted her to grow into an even bigger star than in the previous life, to step onto a more dazzling stage, and to amass more wealth.

He wanted to see if Jiang Shiyu would still end up with Bai Yongyan despite all of that. If they chose to love each other even then, he would watch them fall together and, if they still remained in love, he would offer his blessings and return everything they once had.

But if they couldn’t stay together, then the wealth from the past would fade like smoke, and it would never be within their grasp again. This current project, however, was just the first step.

Noland’s fingers stopped twirling the pen, and he took the interview questions from Sherman, ready to ask them himself. However, as his gaze accidentally drifted over to Jin Shiya’s face, he caught a glimpse of surprise and fleeting pallor on her expression. His own interest waned, and he passed the papers back to Sherman without a word.

Sherman was completely confused, but Noland didn’t care. He had long gotten used to his boss’s unpredictable moods. Sherman, looking slightly bewildered, began reading off the routine questions with serious intent.

Jiang Shiyu’s answers were a little stiff, as she was clearly not a seasoned interviewee, but her responses were still appropriate. Occasionally, when her answer wasn’t perfect, her slightly guilty expression only made her appear even more innocent and beautiful.

After the interview, Chen Zichen gave Jiang Shiyu an encouraging look. Once she left, he turned to Noland and asked, "She’s the last one. What do you think, Mr. Harris?" Of course, he wasn’t asking about Jiang Shiyu specifically, but about the group of interviewees.

This shrewd man had intentionally placed Jiang Shiyu last. By now, the four people in the room had the clearest impression of her.

Noland, fully aware of Chen Zichen’s subtle tactics, smiled lightly. "Just her, the last one," he replied. With that, he stood up and prepared to leave the temporary interview room, taking the somewhat dazed Jin Shiya with him.

His reasoning was sound: after a long afternoon of work, they were due for a nice dinner, and RM needed someone to accompany them—so he decided to take Jin Shiya along.
