Jin Shiya had her own labels for Noland—self-absorbed, authoritarian, reckless—much like the label Noland had given her: "foolish and clumsy." This man could be incredibly frustrating, but his help was undeniably real.

As the MV filming schedule for Jiang Shiyu neared, everyone became increasingly busy. It wasn’t just Jiang Shiyu who was traveling to Mexico; her assistants and the person in charge from RM company would also be going. Although the final list of people hadn't been decided yet, Jin Shiya was certain that Liu Hong was a definite choice for the role.

Even though Jin Shiya was caught up in her work, when she thought of Jiang Shiyu leaving and the idea of confessing to Bai Yongyan, she couldn’t help but think that all the effort was worth it, even if it meant tiring herself out.

In the midst of her whirlwind schedule, a message from Noland snapped her out of her thoughts.

“I’m planning to return home next week. Aren’t you coming to see me off?”

Jin Shiya, somewhat delayed in realizing, now understood that Noland was leaving.

This man had suddenly appeared in her life, establishing an unexpected mentor-student relationship with her, throwing two huge opportunities her way, and now he was about to leave. But Noland had never truly belonged here. His arrival had been an accident, and his departure was inevitable. Even though she comforted herself by thinking this, Jin Shiya still felt listless, her energy drained.

Soon, the day arrived for Noland to return home, and Jin Shiya went to the airport on behalf of RM company to see him off... but when she arrived at the waiting area, she realized that, aside from herself, no one from the company seemed to be there, not even Paul.

She would never know the real reason Noland had informed her of his departure. The Harris family's private jet couldn't enter Country C, and Noland's travel plans were usually confined to private charters, which allowed their enemies plenty of opportunities to act.

To ensure Noland's safety, Sherman usually kept tight control over Noland's travel details. However, Noland had let it slip, revealing the information to Jin Shiya. This had breached the Harris family's security protocols and endangered Noland’s safety. For the first time, Sherman found himself questioning his usual role of watching the drama unfold, pondering whether Noland’s feelings for Jin Shiya might be more than just professional.

No matter what Sherman thought, Noland was genuinely pleased to see Jin Shiya show up on time. But when Jin Shiya tried to say, "On behalf of RM company, I wish you all the best..." he interrupted her.

"Spare me the formalities."

Jin Shiya shrugged, replying, "I thought so too." She then smiled brightly, hiding any trace of sadness, and said, "So, on behalf of myself, I wish you a smooth journey."

Noland thanked her, and Jin Shiya suppressed all her negative feelings, putting on her best smile in an attempt to make their parting as perfect as possible.

But as Noland was about to walk through the gate to board his flight, his unexpected move completely threw Jin Shiya off balance. With his back to her, Noland suddenly turned around and pulled Jin Shiya into a tight embrace.

He whispered, "Expect a reunion day."

His voice was so soft that Jin Shiya almost missed it. His action had been so sudden that she hadn’t even had a chance to compose her expression.

After speaking, Noland coolly walked away. Before leaving, he casually dropped his scarf around Jin Shiya's neck.
